It might be blunt and annoying, but it’s true.

There are two kinds of people, those that complain and complain without doing anything about things and those that take action to change (and everyone else in between).

The only limits we have are the ones we place on ourselves. Stop wanting something different (body, job, partner, lifestyle) but not doing anything about it and taking responsibility. You are the biggest barrier to embracing change and the sooner you realise you are capable of having the things you want to have the better.

Surrounded by negative people who bring you down? The best place to start, is by removing any people who don’t add value to your life. Negatively breads negatively, and if you stay around people who are unmotivated, complain regularly and don’t have any drive in life than they will continue to bring you down with them.

I used to complain about my weight and feel sorry for myself, give a poor effort at dieting, binge and repeat. The sooner I stopped making excuses, put in the daily effort and consistency I made big changes (after years of complaining). In life, with everything I do I rebel against the victim mentality, I refuse to accept a shitty situation or feel sorry for myself. Every time something happens (good, bad, embarrassing) I look at this as an opportunity to grow and become an improve version of myself.

Start believing in yourself, and stop making excuses or accept your current situation. Positive thinking can spark a chain reaction and help you be a more positive ‘look on the bright side person’. Looking for a positive in every situation or at least a lesson you can learn will enable you to always grow.

Look for the good in every situation! You have the ability to change your life, when you start believing you can.

If YOU want something, WORK for it. We are legitimately capable of achieving, amazing things so stop settling. Find things you enjoy, set yourself big goals and become passionate with life. If you have fitness goals, work goals, travel goals, education goals…give it your ALL? When was the last time, you have 110%?

We are pretty unstoppable when we set out mind on something, it all starts with deciding to show up and put in the effort.

You’ve got this!
